TECHNOLOGY
In House
Our in house rapid prototyping facilities allow us to quickly test and adapt new designs. We have a 3D Printer (FDM machine) capable of producing parts up to 458mm x 255mm x 220mm and up to a fantastic 1000 microns resolution.
We also have an in house graphic and modelling department who are more than capable in handling any 2D and 3D requirements.
We now have a fully equipped UK based manufacturing facility located in Derbyshire. Including 7 injection moulding machines up to 380 tonne pressure and 2 blow moulding machines up to 200L - streamlining the process even more.
Outsourced
From our overseas manufacturing partners comes the facility to produce high resolution stereolithography resin based 3D prototypes, these are ideal for items of high detail. This process is relatively inexpensive and gives a good representation of the final product.
We also have worked with a selection of UK prototypers who can provide excellent SLS and SLA prototypes with fast turnarounds. SLS material can be easily painted so is great for pre-sales and marketing purposes.
MANUFACTURE
We feel that our biggest unique selling point is not only the ability to help in the initial concept phase but the ability to put you in touch with a competative and trustworthy manufacturing source. Too many times have we encountered designers and inventors with great concepts who have been let down at the final hurdle by overspending on tooling costs or having a product with a selling point that is too high.
We provide you with an initial estimate as soon as the 3D modelling is completed that gives you an idea of the unit cost and the tooling costs involved in bringing this product to market. No last minute surprises.
It is our long standing relationships both in the UK and the far east that allow us to offer some of the most competitive production costs around.
